The most common question we get: Which size?

Here’s the honest answer.

CHOOSE THE 4’0” IF:

 • You’ve been foiling a season or more. This board is built for intermediate to pro-level riders.
 • You want the loosest, most responsive board we make. Less surface area means it reacts the second you do.
 • You’re chasing tight carves, quick direction changes, and a board that gets out of its own way.
 • You’re comfortable working for your landings. Air tricks and hard landings ask more of you on the 4’0”. That’s the tradeoff for the looseness.
 • You ride at higher speeds and want minimal swing weight.

CHOOSE THE 4’2” IF:

 • You’re newer to foiling, under a season in, or you’re an experienced rider who wants a high-performance board with more margin for error. This board rides beginner to pro.
 • You want a more locked-in, stable feel on takeoffs and landings. More surface area means more forgiveness when the board hits the water.
 • You’re a bigger rider and want a platform that matches your size.
 • You land tricks and want an easier, more effortless recovery. This is why a lot of our top riders choose the 4’2” even though they could handle the 4’0” no problem. It’s not a beginner board. It’s the board that lets you land hard and stay on your feet.
 • You ride smaller wakes and want stability over looseness.

Go 4’2”. It’s the more versatile board, our top riders ride it for a reason, and you can always size down once you know exactly what you want out of a board. The 4’0” is a tool for a specific feel. The 4’2” is the board that does almost everything well.

Q: What foils are compatible with the Zephyr?

A: The Zephyr is compatible with all major wake foil brands, including Lift, Armstrong, Axis, Cabrinha, Ronix, Liquid Force, Hyperlite, and Slingshot. Contact us if you have a specific foil question.

Q: How long does shipping take?

A: Custom boards ship within 4-8 weeks of order. We’ll send tracking as soon as your board ships. Stock boards ship within 1-7 days.

Q: What’s your return policy?

A: We stand behind every board we make. Contact us within 30 days of delivery if anything isn’t right. If something happens further down the line, we will work with you. Just reach out to us!
