Warranty – OSSA Foilboards

What we cover — and what we don't.

Covered

Factory Defects

If your board fails because of how it was built, we replace it. Our boards are full carbon, vacuum sealed, and hand-inspected before they ship. If a defect slips through, that's on us.

  • Structural delamination not caused by impact
  • Carbon failure from a manufacturing defect
  • Foil track or hardware failures under normal use
  • Bonding or layup failures under normal riding conditions
Not Covered

Wear, Damage & Neglect

This warranty exists to protect you from our mistakes — not from use, accidents, or the environment. Take care of your board and it'll last.

  • Sun damage, UV fading, or discoloration
  • Cosmetic scratches, dings, or finish wear
  • Impact damage from crashes, drops, or transport
  • Damage from improper storage
  • Boards modified or repaired by anyone other than OSSA
  • Normal wear from regular riding

Coverage Period

Warranty runs 12 months from your purchase date. Keep your order confirmation — that's your proof of purchase.

Original Owner

Warranty applies to the original purchaser only. It doesn't transfer if the board is sold or given to someone else.

Our Determination

Defect determination is made by OSSA. We assess the damage directly — Chad reviews every claim. We're not looking for a reason to say no.

Three steps.

Email us with photos

Send clear photos of the damage to ossafoilboards@outlook.com. Include your order number and a brief description of when and where you first noticed it. The more detail, the faster we can assess.

We review your claim

Chad reviews every warranty claim personally. If photos aren't enough to assess, we may ask you to ship the board — we cover return shipping on confirmed defects. You'll hear back within 3 business days.

03

We replace it

Confirmed defect means a replacement board. Same model, same spec. We build boards we're proud of — if one fails because of something we did, we start over.
